This course is a continuation of AP Calculus AB. Topics covered include algebraic and transcendental functions, the derivative and its applications, chain rule, integration, the fundamental theorems of calculus, the mean value theorem, applications of the definite integral, improper integrals, polar coordinates, parametric equations, infinite sequence and infinite series, the Maclaurin and Taylor Series, and elementary differential equations. The students are expected to have their own graphing calculator. A calculator in the TI 84 family of calculators is required.

Prerequisites

A grade of C+ or higher in 265 AP Calculus AB. An academic course review will be conducted to determine student’s academic placement. Course satisfies a requirement for graduation.
