Biography

Miss Harrison grew up in Chillicothe and is excited to begin her fourth year in the World Languages and English departments at PND. About the school community Miss Harrison says, “PND provides much more than a typical school environment. The students, alumni, families, and staff come together to support each other both inside and outside of the classroom.” In the classroom, Miss Harrison has found that she often learns more from the students and they from one another than the students learn from her direct instruction. She believes that our classrooms are windows and mirrors into humanity, allowing students to see not only reflections of their own experiences, but into parts of society they may have otherwise never encountered. These encounters, combined with the Catholic faith, give students the opportunity to see the beautiful complexity of the human person and the dignity each person is owed as a child of God. Miss Harrison loves photography, reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She often does several of these activities at once and has even backpacked across Europe with her grandma!
