Jane Perkins

Counseling / Test Coordinator

Favorite Quote: “I once saw this quote on a cross that a street-preacher was carrying. It reminded me that I need to be ready to encounter Jesus at any time. The questions directs me to be watchful and ready to do Jesus’ bidding here on earth and to be “sure of my calling” when he comes to take me home.” – 2 Corinthians 13:5

Biography

A Naperville, IL native, who entered the field of counseling “…because I love to talk with people and help them overcome the obstacles within their lives. I choose to pursue a counseling position within PND because I can counsel with an open Bible. God’s Word, the Bible, is sufficient to resolve life’s most challenging situations and questions. I also love that PND starts each day and class with prayer as a natural part of the day.” Mrs. Perkins also teaches Intro to Psychology and Child Psychology at ICC. This year she will be teaching Child Development at PND. She is looking forward to bringing her perspective into the PND classroom (and virtual classroom) this year. Mrs. Perkins also enjoys Bible study, scrapbooking, traveling, and public speaking!
