Congratulations to our PND Scholastic Art Award winners! The Scholastic competition is “the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.” We are part of the Midwest Regional which has grown to thirty-three counties and are one of three area schools to participate this year! This is an extremely high honor to have your work win an award at this nationally acclaimed show.
The winners were honored on Sunday, 2/4 in Springfield. If you are in the Springfield area, their work is hung at the Springfield Art Association! The exhibition will be on display until February 22. The SAA is open Monday-Friday 9 am to 5:00 pm. and Saturday, 10 am to 3:00 pm, and located at 700 North Fourth St, Springfield, IL 62704.
A very special good luck to Sh’Nyah Butler, Emery Ribordy, Jillian Sander, and Olivia Tucker as their work is moving on to be judged at nationals in New York City!!! We are very excited and proud of our PND artists!
