Employment Opportunities

Join us in the important work of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through community, faith, knowledge, and service. Peoria Notre Dame High School is seeking a science teacher for the 2024-25 school year and beyond to serve our motivated and passionate students, teach them in a Catholic environment of academic inquiry, and instill in them a passion for problem solving, creating and testing hypotheses, and scholarly research.

At PND, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside faculty and staff members committed to bettering themselves as teachers and Christians. We know we can’t share what we don’t have, and therefore we offer ample opportunities for our faculty and staff to strengthen their spiritual lives through daily Mass, daily adoration and confession, biweekly faith formation meetings, an annual faculty retreat, and All School Mass. In addition to spiritual development, we offer engaging and collaborative professional learning: monthly professional learning communities, biweekly new teacher meetings, and ongoing professional learning sessions.

Many of the benefits of working at PND are visible—competitive salary, health and dental benefits, a 403b match program, and tuition discounts for your children at our partner schools and at PND. Many benefits are not as visible—young people who are respectful and engaged, small teacher-to-student class sizes, and the opportunity to be part of a Catholic community with a rich history and a united mission.

To apply, send a resume, list of three references, three letters of recommendation, and cover letter to j.kelly@pndhs.org.  Additionally, all candidates will need to send an application to the Catholic Diocese of Peoria. Diocesan application materials can be found at this link.
