This course is focused around understanding current events through studying the ethnic, religious, economic, and political differences that make up various cultures around the globe. The course seeks to prepare students in being culturally competent and knowledgeable about geopolitical events and the roles that various cultural histories and expectations play in their developments. Globalization as an economic and political event will be studying through a focus on current events.
