The course is a continuation of the study of the German language and culture on a beginning-intermediate level. Instruction focuses on more detailed vocabulary, with grammatical structure, cultural understanding, and an introduction to German literature. Listening and oral skills are enhanced by the use of available technologies. Students are expected to demonstrate greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing German.
