The course continues the study of the German language leading to attainment of advanced proficiency. Instruction includes a study of complex points of grammar and idiom, expanding vocabulary, German literature, significant instruction through the medium of the German language, and a deeper study of German culture and historical personages. Students are expected to significantly improve their fluency through conversational practice, role-playing, direct response, and guided self-expression.
