The course provides students the opportunity to understand the field of engineering/engineering technology. Instruction is designed to assist students in learning how engineers and technicians use math, science, technology, and engineering problem-solving process to benefit people. Students are expected to address concerns regarding the social and political consequences of technological change. This course is part of the Project Lead the Way math, science, engineering, and technology partnership.

This course is a Project Lead the Way course but is open to all students.

Prerequisites

A grade of A- or higher in 220 Algebra I or a grade of C+ or higher in 225 Algebra I (H) or a grade of A- or higher in 235 Geometry I or a grade of C+ or higher in 240 Geometry (H).
