The course continues the study of the Spanish language and culture on a beginning-intermediate level. Instruction focuses on more detailed vocabulary with grammatical structure, cultural understanding, and introduction to Spanish literature. Listening and oral skills are enhanced by the use of available technologies. Students are expected to demonstrate greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Placement in Spanish II for freshmen is based on passing the Spanish I proficiency test.

Prerequisites

Completion of 475 Spanish I. This course satisfies a World Language requirement for graduation.
