Science Teacher

Favorite Quote: “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:2

Mr. Burr spent his early years in O’Fallon, IL before moving to Bloomington. About his first year of teaching, Mr. Burr has this to say: “I thought and prayed about what sort of career to pursue for quite some time. I wanted to do something that let me serve or mentor others, continue learning and challenging myself, and be actively living out the faith in my daily work. I looked for that in the medical field for a few years, then I started to turn towards education. When the opportunity to work at PND came up it was like the last puzzle piece that clicked into place, and I received this new adventure with joy. That initial joy carried me through a tough first year! Now I’m pretty excited to hone my craft and keep going.” Outside of school, Mr. Burr likes to spend time with his wife, play with his kids, go hiking and running, drink coffee, grill food, read books, play board games, and do projects around the house.
