Daniel Burr

Science Teacher

Favorite Quote: “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:2

Biography

Mr. Burr went to Central Catholic High School – Go Saints! (unless they play the Irish!) – and he stayed in Bloomington, IL for college (IWU) and graduate school (ISU). When he was a high school student he had many excellent teachers that inspired him to dive deep into the Catholic faith. He now feels very blessed to carry on that mission here at PND.

Mr. Burr is a father to five beautiful daughters. His family goes to St. Philomena parish and school. He likes spending time with his wife, hiking, running, coffee, books, video games, house projects, science demonstrations (especially involving fire!), and learning as much as he can about science, culture, and the faith. Outside school, you’re most likely to see him holding his kids, chasing them, or pushing them around in an enormous stroller wagon.
