Mrs. Kennedy grew up in different parts of Iowa before coming to Peoria, Illinois! After being Head of the Math Department here at PND, she went to Washington Community High School where she retired after teaching 29 years. Then, in 2019 she came back as a part-time math instructor and tutor. She has always wanted to be a high school teacher because she always enjoyed teenagers – even when she had 5 of her own! The students and being around people of faith at PND is her source of inspiration. Mrs. Kennedy enjoys music and spending time with her family, including her 18 grandchildren. She is also now a great-grandmother (with major emphasis on the “great”)!
