Mr. Knecht is no stranger to the PND community! His wife, Molly (Walsh) is a Bergan alumna, Class of 1976, and his three children graduated from Peoria Notre Dame: Greg, Class of 2007; Colleen, Class of 2010; and Rose, Class of 2018. Being on the board, Mr. Knecht felt that he could contribute toward implementing the great ideas, identified by so many committed individuals, included in PND’s Strategic Plan. He is now retired after working at Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years and Price Waterhouse & Co. for 8 years. Fun fact about Mr. Knecht: his son, Greg, and he attended the 2006 World Series clinching game for the St. Louis Cardinals, using a different game’s tickets!
