Speech Teacher / Digital Media Productions Teacher / Easterseals Club Moderator / Girls Basketball Coach / All Student Council Moderator

Favorite Quote: “”I used to pray that God would feed the hungry, or do this or that, but now I pray that He will guide me to do whatever I’m supposed to do, what I can do. I used to pray for answers, but now I’m praying for strength. I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things.” -Mother Theresa

Biography

A graduate in 2007 from PND herself, Ms. Santen has brought her many talents back to the PND community. She is a girls basketball coach, Easterseals Club moderator, and a leader of Benedict House. Ms. Santen loves being back at her alma mater, being able to relate her own experiences to that of the students after literally walking the same halls, and embracing the culture of PND from athletics, to academics, to school traditions, and most importantly, the deep love for our faith. She is glad that she has the opportunity to help students find their own special talents and personal strengths, even if they feel like they are not the smartest or have the highest grades; everyone has something to offer! To no surprise from those who know her personality as a social butterfly, Miss Santen was voted “Most Likely to Light Up a Room (Class Clown)” her senior year at PND! When not at sports games, in the classroom, Miss Santen loves to spend time with her family and friends, including her beagle, Stanley, and her two nephews, and one niece.
