Biography

Mrs. Scott grew up in Peoria, Illinois and is a graduate from PND! She decided to become a teacher as it came naturally from her love of coaching. She has always enjoyed working with athletes and students to help them accomplish their goals, and social studies was the subject that challenged her the most! Social studies allows for people to gain a deeper understanding of the world, and ultimately, Mrs. Scott hopes students take the knowledge from her class and apply it directly to their lives. One of Mrs. Scott’s favorite parts about PND is the Christian Service Program; her own love of service came from the CSP projects she did as a student and constantly reminds her of recognizing Christ in others within the body of Christ. Outside of school and coaching, Mrs. Scott enjoys spending time with family, watching baseball, exercising, traveling, and trying new things. She also is very passionate about supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Another fun fact about Mrs. Scott: she loves St. Louis – the history, attractions, pizza, and especially the St. Louis Cardinals!
