The course focuses on the origins of theater, acting, directing, and producing, including lighting, sound, stage design, costuming and makeup. The course offers a study of performance, backstage technique, and plays from several literary periods. Students are expected to produce and direct a short play for performance. This course is offered every-other year, including 2020-2021.
