Congratulations to Ms. Margaret Noe, who received the 2025 Inclusion Champion Award from the FIRE Foundation of Central Illinois (@firefoundationci), at school today from Interim Executive Director Jay Percell and Fire Foundation board member (our very own) Mrs. Krieg-O’Brien!! As part of her award, Ms. Noe received $500 to use in her classroom to promote inclusive education. Ms. Noe was nominated by Mrs. Kelly, who commented on Ms. Noe’s exceptional forward-thinking attitude and actions with inclusion in the classroom. (See the first photo for a full quote!)
As Ms. Noe reflected, “For a long as I can remember my family has followed the mantra (from the movie Robots) “See a need, fill a need.” Although this quote was directed at one robot to another, my family takes it as inspiration to help and serve God’s creations, using the gifts he has bestowed upon us. The FIRE foundation has seen first hand the need for inclusive education in our Catholic schools, which is why I am so grateful to be receiving such an award that will help me to continue to fulfill the needs of the wonderful community I am surrounded by.” Way to go, Ms. Noe! We are so proud of you and are blessed to have you at PND!
