Sr. Pio Maria Boland, O.P.

Theology Teacher

Favorite Quote: “Everything comes from love, all is ordained for the salvation of man, God does nothing without this goal in mind.” – St. Catherine of Siena, Dialogue on Providence, ch. IV, 138 (also quoted in CCC 313).

Biography

Sr. Pio Maria grew up in Northboro, Massachusetts and went into education because of her entrance into the Dominican order and desire for others to know and love Jesus Christ and to be formed in Him. She expects to continue growing in union with Christ through both encountering Him daily in the Eucharist and bringing that same attentiveness and reverence to her students, following the Dominican motto: “to contemplate and give to others the fruits of one’s contemplation.” Outside of the classroom, Sr. Pio Maria loves spending quality time with her sisters, reading, baking, walking, and bullet journaling. Fun fact: She has been involved in Catholic education since high school.
