A Peoria native, PND alumna, and most recently a math teacher at St. Mark School, Ms. Freeman is excited to be teaching at PND to work with the students and continue to grow in her love of the Catholic faith! She was inspired to become a teacher from her seventh grade math teacher, Ms. Dwyer, who made learning fun and easy. She even inspired Ms. Freeman’s love of math! Ms. Freeman enjoys spending time with her family and friends (including her identical twin who is ALSO a math teacher), going out to eat, escape rooms, and traveling.
Mrs. Kiser is no stranger to our school community after having three children who all graduated from PND (Katie ’16, Gregory ’18 ,and Isabel, ’23). She is looking forward to continue to teach in a Catholic school. Mrs. Kiser previously taught at St. Thomas School, and she loved having Christ included in everything we do at school. It has helped her to learn so much more about her faith and to become more comfortable talking about her faith. Mrs. Kiser always knew she wanted to be a teacher. She “got side-tracked along the way,” getting married and having a family but returned to school when her oldest child was in high school to get her teaching credential. Some of Mrs. Kiser’s hobbies include sewing, crocheting, walking, and reading.
