Congratulations to Peoria Notre Dame sophomores Bianca Cisel and Madelyn Monge who have advanced to the IHSA Class 1A Tennis State Finals Oct. 23-25 in the Chicago area! Each qualified for state at the Dunlap Sectional, where Madelyn finished third and Bianca placed fourth in the singles division. The Irish varsity had an outstanding team showing at the sectional, finishing second in the 10-team tournament. Bianca and Madelyn are the first state qualifiers for PND girls tennis since 2022.
