Cross Country is having a “run-derful” season! The boys team is 1st in conference, and the girls are 2nd. Max Kirby and Lillian Chaddock were the 1st place finishers at conference! The teams will compete in regionals Saturday, 10/25 at Alpha Park in Bartonville!
Golf had a great season! Boys golf won 1st in the Conference, and huge congratulations to Sean Graham who represented PND at the State Golf Tournament! Junior Jack Coulter won multiple tournaments including the Pekin Dragon Invite and Bloomington Invite. Congratulations to Josie Heffron, who medalled in regionals for girls golf. Additionally, the whole girls team advanced to sectionals!
Football has a record of 6-2 for their season and already qualified for a post-season spot! Their next game is coming up this Friday, 10/24 vs Danville. They also had a notable win of 53-19 over Bloomington High recently!
Boys Soccer are co-conference champions, had a great win last vs Moline 3-2 in overtime, and will play for the 3A regional title this Friday, 10/24 against Normal Community.
Good luck to Girls Swim & Dive who compete at conference this weekend at Normal West!! Kate Fitzjarrald, Eileen Hamilton, Kam Gardiner, and Angela Horning have represented PND phenomenally in several relays throughout the season. Also, congratulations to freshman Kam Gardiner who will head to the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs this weekend, as she has been invited to participate in the USA Swimming national select camp.
Volleyball team finished the season 2nd in the Big 12 Conference with a win last night vs Champaign Centennial. The team continues their season, playing Tuesday, 10/28 in their first regional game at Aledo High School at, 7 PM!
