Spotlight on 2021 PND Alum Eddie Saunders! Eddie is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University where he ran the 100m and 200m and the respective relays for the track team. While at IWU, Eddie studied advertising and marketing and was a member and eventually president of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He has recently joined Peoria Buzz as the Marketing Sales Manager. In his role, Eddie creates video content and marketing strategies to help businesses attract customers and clients. Eddie said the best part of his job is shining a positive light on the city of Peoria and its many local businesses.
When reflecting on his time at PND, Eddie said “The biggest thing I took away personally was just how much the school prepared me for college academics. I saw many college classmates struggle when they were first starting their college journey. But after everything PND taught me, the transition was seamless. I also have many connections from my time in high school, and you can never have too many friends in business and in life.”
