Congratulations to our girls & boys wrestling teams for starting off their postseason with an awesome showing at regionals and for those advancing to sectionals coming up! 
Freshman Lesly De La Cruz and Sophomore Sammy Baker are advancing to Sectionals in DeKalb! Sammy Baker placed first and was Regional Champion in her weight class! Lesly placed fourth in her weight class.
The boys team has 7 wrestlers moving on to Sectionals and finished second as a team, the highest Class 2A finish in school history!! The boys were led by 2 individual Regional Champions – Junior Freddie Couri (120) and Senior Jack Bartoletta (138).
Also, Senior Remi Joesting won his 100th career match at the Regional tournament.
The boys will compete this weekend at the Geneseo 2A Sectional.
