Thank you to Clint Rezac of the Peoria Police Department for speaking with Mrs. Krieg-O’Brien’s classes about careers within the different divisions of the police force and how investigators “read” evidence to help solve crimes.
Our Principles of Body Systems and Environmental Science students have been working on blood typing, blood spatter analysis, DNA analysis, and forensic science. They even created fake blood and tested spatter patterns at different angles to better understand how crime scene evidence is analyzed.
