We had a wonderful celebration yesterday morning with All School Mass followed by a pizza party for students who participated in OCIA this year, including two juniors who officially became Catholic at Easter this year: Dallas Harder and Ben Sorce. Dallas and Ben were also our gift-bearers during Mass!
We were thankful to be joined at Mass by Fr. Luke Spannagel and Deacon Blake Miller. Our chaplain Fr. Daniel Dionesotes gave a great Homily on the importance of Confession, including reflections on the increase in participation of Confession and daily Mass that he observed during Lent at PND.
At the pizza party, we also celebrated the three students who were confirmed at St. Phil’s in February after OCIA with Fr. Daniel (which we’ve previously posted about): Jude Bennett, Josh Mrozinski, and Paul Mrozinski.
