Biography

Mrs. Taylor is no stranger to PND! She is an alumna of AOL/Spalding and comes from a legacy family of alumni including her parents Nan (Hausam), AOL 1963 and Steve Powers, SI 1962; her grandmother Virginia Hobin, AOL 1936; her  grandfather John Powers, SI 1917; and her great-aunt Anna Mae Powers, AOL 1916. Her husband Bret is also an alum (Class of 1985), and together, they have a wonderful family with 7 children (6 boys and 1 girl) who attended St. Mark’s and PND.

Mrs. Taylor LOVES helping others understand math and has been a tutor for over 40 years. She also finds it as such a blessing to be able to attend Mass and adoration during the day at PND, especially with so many students and staff attending as well! Mrs. Taylor has so enjoyed getting to know some of these beautiful students, and she hopes she can help in their journey as they discern what God wants them to do in their lives. Outside of school, Mrs. Taylor enjoys traveling, walking with family and friends, and gardening.
