A native of Morton, IL, Mrs. Wiggers has taught at PND since 2018, but has been an educator since 2006. She went into education because she wanted to help students grow into the young men and women God has called them to be. Mrs. Wiggers says that her prayer life has been strengthened by PND’s efforts to pray as a school community and integrate prayer throughout the day. She enjoys many elements of her job including helping teachers hone their craft, working with families to support them in their role as the primary educators of their children, and teaching in the social studies classroom, specifically aiding students in the development of their critical thinking and writing skills. Outside of school, Mrs. Wiggers loves traveling and spending time with her husband and four children. She also enjoys cooking, though she very rarely makes a recipe more than once.
