This morning, our school community celebrated a wonderful Ash Wednesday Mass. After Mass, students practiced the 3 pillars of Lent at different stations during Community Time: fasting, almsgiving, and prayer. Students contemplated fasting commitments to practice self-discipline, gave of their time in fruitful conversation with one another, and reflected upon the 150th Anniversary of the Diocese of Peoria via prayer led by Bishop Lou.
May this season be one of faith, reflection, and new beginnings
