Today is the Ides of March. So in Ms. Pinheiro’s Latin classes, students attempted to solve the assassination of Julius Caesar. Students worked around the room at various stations to read testimony from witnesses. After reading all of the testimonies, students were tasked with making a conclusion on why Caesar was assassinated and who was involved.

Several of our PND students went to the Daughter of the Father retreat day with the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago on Saturday! The students had a wonderful day with Mass, Adoration, and speakers including Sr. Mary Ignatius, Sr. Catherine Thomas, and Mr. Peter Ritcher (a SICP theology teacher). What an awesome day!

Projects include an adjustable bike seat for stationary bikes, a contraption for changing hard-to-reach lightbulbs, and wheels that attach to difficult-to-move furniture for easy transportation

Miss Cramer’s art students are learning about the history and basics of stained glass. They used their knowledge to cut and create their own mosaic stained glass piece. Through this new art medium, they experimented with form and color as they got to plan and create an original composition.
