In Mr. Eichholz’s AP Calculus class, students are finding tangent lines to curves in 2-D space that are not easily defined as y equals a function of x. Tangent lines touch a curve at exactly one point and resemble the curve when you zoom in close. Cross Country is having a “run-derful” season! The boys team is 1st in conference, and the girls are 2nd. Max Kirby and Lillian Chaddock were the 1st place finishers at conference! Congratulations to Peoria Notre Dame sophomores Bianca Cisel and Madelyn Monge who have advanced to the IHSA Class 1A Tennis State Finals Oct. 23-25 in the Chicago area! Each qualified for state at the Dunlap Sectional, where Madelyn finished third and Bianca placed fourth in the singles division.
