In Mrs. Cottingham’s Introduction to Literature, the freshmen debated their stance on themes from the short stories “The Lottery”, “The Pedestrian”, and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.” Students prepared opening arguments, rebuttals, and closing statements using evidence from outside research and the short stories to help strengthen and prove their arguments.Read More
