The course provides an overview of American government and politics. Instruction focuses on the political beliefs and behavior of the United States Government and its people with particular emphasis placed on the governmental structures and the duties and responsibilities of the people at the local, state, and national levels of government. Students are expected to complete individual and collaborative assignments/projects.
