The AP Psychology course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students will also learn about the ethics and methods psychologists use in their science and practice. Students are expected to participate in group discussions and research projects. Students will be prepared for the AP Psychology examination. Students are required to take both trimesters to earn credit for the course. Students earning credit in this course may not register for 550 Psychology.
