This course will be an enriched introduction to the postulates and theorems of Euclidean Geometry. The focus will be on developing logical thinking through the use of direct and indirect proofs, integration of algebra with geometric topics, and geometric inequalities. A calculator is required for this course. The math faculty recommends a TI 34 Series calculator.

Prerequisites

Recommendation based on junior high documentation or a grade of A- or higher in 220 Algebra I. An academic course review will be conducted to determine student’s academic placement. Course satisfies a requirement for graduation.
