The course is designed to be an introduction to business as well as an introduction to the steps necessary to begin a business. Instruction includes building an understanding of small business development. Students are expected to learn the principles that govern large businesses in a global marketplace. Students work closely with small business owners and organizations that work with small businesses. Students are expected to complete a variety of class assignments and projects.
