This course is designed to acquaint students with sound system set-up, basic music editing through Garage Band, music creation/composition programs, and exploration of other software and hardware for sound production projects. Instruction includes discussion of history of electronic music, familiarization with sound production & music editing software, in addition to various musical notation programs. Students are expected to complete written assignments, quizzes, tests and projects.
