The course provides instruction in the fundamental concepts of painting. Instruction is provided to assist students in using a variety of paint medias including: watercolor and acrylic,. Students are expected to refine their skill ability in composition and color, while working toward building their knowledge of art history and painting styles as well as furthering their verbal critiquing skills.
