Congratulations to sophomore Tristen Blackert who has been awarded PND’s January “Faith in Action” award! Tristen is a member of St. Philomena Parish.
This monthly award recognizes a student who demonstrates Christian conduct, consistently practices acts of kindness, is a positive influence to those around them, and promotes the mission of PND in community, faith, & service.
Tristen was nominated by Mrs. Bingaman and Mrs. Burgess. Mrs. Burgess commented that Tristen helped her carry boxes to her new classroom in the Art Hallway during his robotics practice, going the extra mile to welcome her to PND. Mrs. Bingaman mentioned how Tristen continually is proactive and takes iniative to help others around him. He even 3-D printed crosses for several teachers’ classrooms and “leaves his faith wherever he goes.”
