Other recent highlights of winter sports & activities: Speech Team, Dance Team, and Robotics! 
Our PND Speech Team is small but mighty!! Coached by Mrs. Amie Slott, the team finished up their season the first weekend of February with the Regional tournament. Way to go Claire, Joseph, and Liam! The dance team represented PND well at IDTA state on Saturday with a strong performance! Seniors Isabella Schmillen and Margaret Church also performed beautifully during the solo competition. Robotics qualified for STATE after their performance this past weekend at regionals! The Four Leaf Rovers not only finished first but also set the Illinois State Record at 216 points!!! 
The team also won the 1st Place Innovate Award for the design and 3D printing of the Intake and Launcher mechanisms of the robot!We are so proud of you all!! Let’s go IRISH!
