Today at our May All School Mass, we had our Mary Crowning!! Clubs, teams, families, and staff members brought flowers to honor Our Mother Mary, and senior Maya Zopel crowned Mary.
Fr. Daniel gave a wonderful Homily summarized by the acronym R.I.M. (Relationship, Identity, Mission) from today’s Gospel on the vine and branches. Developing a relationship with Christ is important to properly develop one’s identity (the fact that you are loved, which is received, not earned). Then, God sends you forth on mission in the way you were created. He also reflected on how Mary is the perfect example of R.I.M.
During Community Time, our winter and spring sports and activities were recognized, as well as goodbyes to some of our wonderful teachers– including retiree Mrs. Debbe Bingaman. It was a wonderful morning celebrating the faith and community here at PND!
