“Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you. All things are passing away: God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.” – St. Teresa of Avila
Biography
Señor Benito Carrillo brings a ton of teaching and world experience with him to PND! Growing up, he lived in Cabimas (Zulia) & Caracas, Venezuela as well as Madrid, Spain. He loves the ocean and traveling to exotic destinations, but it does freak him out to think of diving underwater! Señor Benito Carrillo loves to read, travel, hike, exercise, and catch up with friends. He is excited to continue his teaching career at PND, as he is convinced that the classroom is where the difference is made. Teachers can make that positive difference in students’ lives. Additionally, surrounding himself with people who value the same things that he does can help to balance his profession and spirituality. He says, “As educators, we must get around people who believe in God and believe that He is at work in this world.”
