Biography

Sr. Agnes Paulina was born in Poland and then moved to California in high school. She joined the Dominican Sisters of Mary in Michigan after finishing grad school and becoming a licensed pharmacist. She began teaching at PND in 2021. Sr. Agnes Paulina loves education because she has always been close to academia through undergraduate work, graduate studies and then clinical practice. Being naturally curious about what science can uncover about life processes as well as having a deep reverence for the spiritual aspect of our existence, brought her closer to the idea that it is good to “contemplate and to share with others fruits of contemplation” (St. Thomas Aquinas). She is passionate about intertwining faith and science and it is important to her to be able to hand on this knowledge to the future generations. Some of Sr. Agnes Paulina’s favorite activities are biking, hiking, baking and spending time with her Sisters! Fun fact: Sr. Agnes Paulina is a big marvel fan!
