Biography
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Mrs. Speck grew up with education in her family. Both of her parents were educators and she had both of them as teachers! Her mom taught her senior English and her dad taught government at the local community college. Mrs. Speck has been part of the PND family since she helped begin Campus Ministry at PND in 2011. She also taught some freshman English classes and began working with the Christian Service Program (CSP) in 2014. After having children, she began to work from home with CSP. She has five children and is a member at St. Philomena Parish.
A fun fact: Mrs. Speck worked in Campus Ministry with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) for 6 years. In fact, that’s how she ended up in Peoria- she was assigned to work at the Bradley Newman Center. She also loves March Madness!
