Recognizing three incredible teachers

We want to recognize and thank three incredible teachers for their service over the years to PND: Sr. Catherine Thomas, Dr. Roger Callahan, and Mr. Marty Stenoish.
✝️ Sr. Catherine Thomas has worked at PND since 2013 (with a brief three-year hiatus when she studied for a second master’s degree) and has been assigned to the Motherhouse in Ann Arbor this upcoming year. Sr. Catherine Thomas has served as the head of the Theology Department this past year. Students and staff will incredibly miss her infectious enthusiasm for the faith, her wit and wisdom, her Socratic seminars, and the love she poured out into everything she did!
🐻 Dr. Roger Callahan, or “Doc” as most of us know him, has taught at PND for 21 years beginning in 2004! An avid Cubs fan and huge PND athletics supporter, Doc always shared his support of the students in and out of the classroom. Students and staff will miss stopping by to chat as he served as advisory hall monitor, working through tough math problems in Algebra II, and experiencing his kindness and sense of humor!
🦖 Mr. Marty Stenoish, also known as “Stenosaurus” or “Steno,” has taught at PND for 25 years since 2000! A longtime men’s basketball coach, Animal Care Club moderator, a dad-joke teller, grammar connoisseur as it “behooved” him, and overall mathematics legend, freshman hall will not be the same without Mr. Stenoish!
We will keep you in our prayers as we count our many blessings of having all three of you as part of the PND community! We wish Doc & Steno a wonderful retirement and Sr. Catherine Thomas an amazing next step in her vocation!
