Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, everyday heroes, and all those whose lives were forever changed.
As a Catholic school community, we turn to prayer—asking God to comfort those who continue to grieve, bless those who serve and protect others, and help each of us be instruments of His peace in our world.
And we pray for the 2,977 lives lost on that tragic day. “Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.”
May we never forget.
