Huge thank you to Fr. Chase Hilgenbrinck & Maryjeanne Gilbert (PND Class of 2016) who spoke at our Spring Sports Retreat on Sunday! Fr. Chase gave an awesome Homily at Mass connecting the Gospel on Jesus’s temptations in the desert to temptations teams can face and how we are called to be good teammates and strive for excellence. Maryjeanne continued the “strive for excellence” message in her own talk to our student-athletes, emphasizing the importance of recognizing that failure is part of the game and that mistakes allow us to learn and grow as an individual and as a teammate.After Mass, breakfast, and our featured speaker, the teams moved into breakout sessions to set personal and team goals for the spring season. We are excited to see all that they do during these next few months!
