Junior Jake Heberer led the way for the Irish with a second place finish in the 200 free, 8th place in the 500 free, and was on 2 relays with freshman Chase Mohrman, freshman Teddy Showalter, and junior Reese Welker that placed 8th. Both relays were faster than the Irish relays were last year at sectionals!
Mohrman also added to the point total individually, placing 6th in the 50 free and 8th in the 100 free, going a lifetime best time in the process. Junior Seamus Dwyer, senior Owen Magner, and freshmen Mitchell Goddard and Parker Sarff also contributed points for the Irish in the 200 medley and 200 free relays.
Compared to last year, the team improved from finishing 13th to 8th place overall! A great start for the Irish boys swim season!
