During October, PND observes Respect Life Month, and this past week, Teens for Life hosted meaningful activities to bring our school community together in support of life.
Throughout the week, students collected diapers for Empower Life Center in Peoria, with Rice House earning first place and a candy prize by donating 1,710 diapers!!! Teens for Life set up in the commons on Monday to share treats and spread awareness, and on Tuesday, Veronica Lamlech from Students for Life of America led the impactful Pink Cross Display in the circle drive. Teens for Life members also joined the 40 Days for Life campaign, praying outside Planned Parenthood. Wednesday brought a Day of Silent Solidarity, as students wore red tape on their uniforms to honor those without a voice.
Thank you to everyone who joined and to celebrate and protect the gift of life!
